Andrew Bergin

Andrew Bergin is a Farming for Nature Ambassador and regenerative tillage farmer from Athy, Co. Kildare. He practises no-till cereals, sows cover crops, uses no insecticides, and has established wide pollinator strips around his field margins. He is an active member of BASE Ireland and sits on the steering group of the Protecting Farmland Pollinators EIP, bringing a practical farming perspective to biodiversity conservation.

Dr. Emma Hart

Dr. Emma Hart is a conservation ecologist and founder of Habitats, a consultancy working at the interface of nature restoration, policy and practice. Her work spans regenerative agriculture, rewilding and nature finance, supporting projects across Ireland and the EU. Emma has contributed to international task forces with the IUCN, Biodiversa+ and the EU Green Deal Nature Restoration Cluster. She combines this policy and research experience with practical delivery, running a 50-acre organic farm and biodiversity reserve in Ireland.

Prof. Jane Stout

Prof. Jane Stout is a Professor of Ecology at Trinity College Dublin and Vice President for Biodiversity & Climate Action. An internationally renowned expert in pollinator and pollination ecology, her research explores how land management practices affect ecological processes and the benefits of nature for people. She is co-founder and deputy Chair of the All-Ireland Pollinator Plan, co-founder of Natural Capital Ireland, and currently President of the Royal Entomological Society.
