The UNESCO Chair Agricultural Heritage Landscapes was established with the objective to spread the knowledge about agricultural heritage landscapes and their importance in consideration of their potential contribution to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with particular reference to sustainable agriculture, food security, biodiversity protection and climate change mitigation and adaptation

Role in the project

UNIFI will coordinate the Italian Farming and Biodiversity National Network, and will co-lead Work Package 2, beside participating in other relevant project activities.

FarmBioNet is dedicated to bridging the knowledge gap between biodiversity and agriculture, aiming to promote
Biodiversity-Friendly Farming (BFF) practices across Europe.
