FarmBioNet Communication Reaches Farmers and Stakeholders

Since the start of the project, the FarmBioNet team has been actively sharing results and engaging stakeholders across Europe to ensure that knowledge on biodiversity-friendly farming reaches a wide and diverse audience.

Thanks to these efforts, FarmBioNet has achieved visibility in 40+ media outlets and online portals across partner countries and languages. The project has also been featured in a range of respected publications, including Irish Farmers Journal, Agriland, Bioecononomia, Poljoprivrednik, Bauern Zeitung, Cap Network Ireland, Vegora, Bulgarian News Agency, Cuvantul- Liber, Farming for Nature, AgroTV, etc.

Beyond visibility, this outreach plays an important role in FarmBioNet’s knowledge-sharing approach. By reaching both specialised agricultural media and broader information platforms and portals, the project helps ensure that insights on biodiversity-friendly farming practices are not confined to research circles but are accessible to farmers, advisors, and decision-makers across Europe.

This growing media presence also supports one of the core goals of FarmBioNet: strengthening the flow of practical knowledge between science, policy, and farming practice, and encouraging wider awareness and uptake of biodiversity-friendly solutions.

Overall, these results reflect increasing interest in sustainable and biodiversity-friendly farming approaches and underline the importance of continued communication and outreach throughout the project.
